World War 2 Tunnel Tours at Mosman Park!
Tunnels were dug on Buckland Hill to set up a coastal defence to protect Fremantle from Japanese attacks during World War 2. A perfect opportunity to go with Auslan interpreters and enjoy the tour with family and friends.
Where: Carpark, Boundary Road, Mosman Park
Time: You will need to book your tour time - each tour is limited
to 10 people
Tour Times: 10am 10:30am 11am 11.30am 12pm 12.30pm
Cost: $5 per person
$3 per member (WAAD member discount)
RSVP: You need to book your tour time & pay for your tickets before the
event.

Family Fun Day - The Maze
Everyone welcome! Join in for a day outing with big and small people! The Maze is a fun and entertaining venue with many activities to do for the whole family. There are different mazes, mini golf, outdoor garden chess, golf disc and more! Koalas are also a highlight!
Lunch at own responsibility - there are BBQ facilities available and a cafe on site.
The Maze is open from 9am to 5pm - you are more than welcome to come and go whenever you want.
In partnership, the WA Deaf Society and WAAD will provide activities for kids and Auslan interpreters for the Koala show from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

Professionals Breakfast
A Networking opportunity for people working with the Deaf community and for Deaf professionals. A presentation will be delivered by Ms Leanne Potter, Access & Equity Coordinator at WA Institute of Deaf Education.
Where: Mt Claremont Community Centre, Montgomery Avenue, Mt Claremont
Time: 7am - 9am

Deaf Seniors & Deaf School Students - Visit to Shenton College
Deaf Seniors will have the opportunity to share a favourite pastime with Deaf school students! A fun morning with a delicious lunch provided! This will be an opportunity for students to be mentored by Deaf Seniors, develop teambuilding skills and gain additional insight to Deaf culture and language.
Where: Shenton College, Stubbs Terrace, Shenton Park

Captioned Movie - "The Sorcerer's Apprentice"
An average college student is reluctantly recruited to work for a sorcerer (Nicolas Cage), who gives him a crash course in the art and science of magic to prepare him for a battle against the forces of darkness in modern Manhattan.

May the Best Sporting Team Win!
Teams of 4 will compete in a range of all age friendly games and activities. Come along and have some silly fun! Prizes to be won. This is a night of guaranteed fun-filled laughter and camaraderie!
Teams of 4 should have the following: 1 Deaf, 1 hearing, 1 Senior & 1 Youth.
Register your team or your name soon as possible! If you dont have a team, let us know and we will put you in a team! There is a maximum of 10 teams.
