Kings Park Launch

This is to kick-start the week long celebrations by having a sausage sizzle and there will be talks about the future of the former Mosman Park School for Deaf Children.

Where: Lotterywest Family Area, Willong Pavillion

Time: 12.30pm to 2.30pm

Cost: Free! Includes sausage sizzle and a drink per person

Whale Watching

Come and join us in an exciting 3-4 hour boat trip to see the whales coming from the North, heading South with their babies. There will be interpreters on board and the fares are heavily discounted - only for this special week!

Time: Meet at 8.30am for 9am departure

Deaf Seniors & Deaf School Students - Visit to Fremantle Maritime Museum

Deaf Seniors will have the opportunity to mingle with Deaf school students! An informative morning with a delicious lunch provided! This will be an opportunity for students to be mentored by Deaf Seniors, develop teambuilding skills and gain additional insight to Deaf culture and language.

Professionals Breakfast - With Mr Colin Allen, WFD President

A networking opportunity for people working with the Deaf community and for Deaf professionals. An Australian, Mr Colin Allen, recently elected World Federation of the Deaf President, he will be giving a presentation about the United Nations, World Federation of the Deaf and how we can work together in eradicating human rights discrimination in Australia.

May the Best Sporting Team Win!

Teams of 4 will compete in a range of all age friendly games and activities. Come along and have some silly fun! Prizes to be won. This is a night of guaranteed fun-filled laughter and camaraderie!

Teams of 4 should have the following: 1 Deaf, 1 hearing, 1 Senior & 1 Youth.

Register your team or your name soon as possible! If you dont have a team, let us know and we will put you in a team! There is a maximum of 10 teams.
